HER TALKS | Getting to the Root: A Naturopathic Approach to Women’s Health

  • HER Kitchen 1442 Hertel Avenue Buffalo, NY, 14216 United States (map)

A monthly gathering designed to create space for real conversations, meaningful connections, and shared wisdom — each featuring inspiring women who are shaping the wellness landscape.

Join Sue as she sits down with these women as they share their story. They will talk about what it is they practice, why they do what they do, and how that can bring more wellness to YOUR life.

Each month will feature a curated menu of small bites from HER Kitchen, thoughtfully designed to complement the evening’s theme. We highlight ingredients with wellness benefits in mind to truly nourish you from the inside out.

Kristie of Rooted Naturopathy

I’m Kristie, a Board-Certified Traditional Naturopath, Tuning Fork Therapist, mom of two amazing daughters, wife to my loving and supportive partner, and proud corgi mom.

Rooted Naturopathy was born from my deep belief that the body is always speaking, and when we slow down enough to listen, healing begins. My work weaves together traditional naturopathic principles, Traditional Chinese Medicine, and sound frequency therapy to help you tune into what your body is asking for physically, emotionally, and energetically.

I’m especially passionate about supporting nervous system regulation and helping people who feel overwhelmed, inflamed, exhausted, or disconnected come back into balance. Through nutrition, herbal medicine, acupoints, and tuning forks, we work at the root, not just the surface.

Healing, to me, is about remembering who you are underneath the stress and noise.

When I’m not in session, you’ll find me learning something new, traveling, grounding barefoot outside, tending to my garden, soaking in time with my family, or being lovingly bossed around by our corgi.

I’m grateful every day to do this work and honored to walk alongside those who are ready to return to themselves

Rooted Naturopathy was created from the belief that true healing happens at the root and when the body is given the right conditions, it has the power to heal itself.

We take a holistic approach that blends traditional naturopathic principles, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and tuning fork sound therapy to support balance in the body, mind, and nervous system. Health is not just the absence of symptoms, it is the harmonious flow of energy, proper nourishment of the organs, and a regulated, resilient nervous system.

At Rooted Naturopathy, we look beyond surface symptoms to understand what the body is communicating. Through nutrition response testing, whole food supplements and herbal medicine, lifestyle support, detoxification, vocal frequency scans, and meridian-based frequency therapy, we help restore balance so the body can do what it was designed to do, heal.

Our mission is to empower individuals with the tools, knowledge, and awareness needed to reconnect with their bodies and return to a grounded, vibrant state of health.
