Alexis of Buffalo Lymphatic Management
Alexis grew up in the Finger Lakes area of New York. After high school, Alexis first pursued the Human Services field and obtained her Associate of Science in Human Services from Finger Lakes Community College in Canandaigua, New York.
Immediately after graduation, Alexis applied and was accepted to D’Youville College and began her education as an Occupational Therapist. Throughout school, Alexis found her niche in the OT world when she began her first Level II Fieldwork with her now partner, Philip, in the specialty field of Lymphedema Management.
After graduation from D’Youville with her Masters of Science in Occupational Therapy, and after passing her state board exam, Alexis got certified by the Academy of Lymphatic Studies as a Certified Lymphedema Therapist.
Since then, Alexis has been working to achieve her dream of being a business owner, and also fulfill her passion for helping those affected by Lymphedema. In her free time, Alexis enjoys reading, horseback riding, and spending time with her husband and their two dogs.
Buffalo Lymphatic Management is an Occupational Therapy private practice founded in 2021 by Philip Wojtas and Alexis Manning. Both of the owners recognized a need for increased access to Lymphedema services in the area, and decided to open a practice that offers Complete Decongestive Therapy to service the Buffalo area.
Both owners have a passion for treating Lymphedema, and they are both Certified Lymphedema Therapists (CLT) by the Academy of Lymphatic Studies.
