If you struggle to plan healthy meals and often feel overwhelmed and don’t know where to start, this course is for you. We will discuss the importance of taking time every week to meal plan, making a shopping list and how to best order/shop to put your plan in place. This course will help you save time, money and frustration.

The Secrets Behind the World’s Longest- Living People

The Blue Zones are five identified areas around the globe that have the world’s longest-lived people according to Dan Buettner. Buettner is the founder of Blue Zones, an organization that helps Americans live longer, healthier lives. This course will include a discussion of the diet the people in these zones have in common. but we will also discuss movement, purpose, philosophy, your “tribe”, and many other common lifestyle habits the people in the Blue Zones share. Healthy Aging

Researchers have linked long term inflammation to nearly every chronic disease. Short term inflammation is necessary and helpful to heal a sprained ankle or finger cut. However, long term inflammation is damaging and over time can damage healthy cells. We will discuss how our lifestyle choices may increase our risk of long term chronic inflammation and helps put a plan in place to help reduce the risk.
