This series of classes (July - October) will be focusing on the Blue Zones - the name used to describe the world’s longest-lived cultures and the common characteristics that explain their healthy longevity. It is the vision of Dan Buettner who, with a team of expert demographers, identified four of the five blue zones hotspots and has led and aggregated the research to identify the common denominators.
Each month we will be focusing on a specific Blue Zone - what they practice, what they eat, what the flavor profiles of their foods are, and how to incorporate their practices into our daily lives here in Buffalo, NY.
We will be cooking recipes and following along with the Blue Zones Kitchen: 100 Recipes to Live to 100 by Dan Buettner. If you would like to purchase the book to have your own copy, you can do so here. Use the promo code BCN2025 for 10% off.
