TURMERIC VEGGIE SOUP

INGREDIENTS:

  • 4 tablespoons Olive Oil

  • 1/2 yellow onion, diced

  • 2 large carrots, diced

  • 2oz. Turmeric Balance Shot

  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped

  • 2 cups sweet potato, peeled + chopped

  • 1 medium butternut squash, peeled + chopped

  • 2 tablespoons curry powder

  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

  • 8 cups vegetable broth

  • Salt

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a large dutch oven, heat olive oil over medium high heat.

  2. Add onion + carrots - cook until softened.

  3. Deglaze the pan with the Turmeric shot until all of the brown bits have loosened from the bottom.

  4. Add in the sweet potato, butternut squash, garlic, curry powder, red pepper flakes(optional) and salt to taste.

  5. Add in the vegetable broth + let simmer covered for 20 minutes.

  6. Use an immersion blend to mix until smooth. Taste for salt and adjust.

TUMERIC KOMBUCHA MOCKTAIL

INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 oz. Turmeric Balance Shot

  • 3 oz. Kombucha (turmeric or ginger pairs well)

  • Orange Peel

  • Cinnamon

  • Ice

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. In a chilled glass, pour 1 oz. of the turmeric blend over ice.

  2. Add kombucha of your choice + gently stir.

  3. Garnish with an orange peel + a sprinkle of cinnamon.
